Scotty member Brandon, aged 11 Said "The Scotty's Little Soldiers pack was amazing, I am going to use the backpack when I start comprehensive school in September and hope that other kids will ask what Scotty's Little Soldiers is about so that I can tell them. I love the booklet that you sent because when I feel sad and miss my dad I can read it and know that Scotty's Little Soldier is there for me."
The packs contain a welcome comic, branded football, key ring and a special gift.
Army Widow Nikki Scott (founder) said "I am so excited that we are finally at the stage where we can now start to begin to help the children smile. It has taken a long time to get to this point but I am really proud of the Scotty Packs and I'm excited about the future of Scotty's Little Soldiers. The packs are really cool and I am sure the children will love them."
Donna Barber, army widow and mother to Bradley aged 7 years said " Bradley was excited to receive his pack, not only did he think it was 'cool', he could relate to it and it made him realise he is not the only person with his daddy in heaven. As a mother it overwhelms me to think that after 4 years of not having his daddy, people still care enough to help put a smile on his face, which in turn makes me smile."
