Cycle Portugal takes cyclists on a classic journey on the fabled N2, Portugal’s answer to Route 66, for over 700km. Sign up now and raise funds for bereaved military children.

This extraordinarily scenic ride takes you through terraced vineyards and fields of olive and cork trees, along river-banks and over winding hills with sweeping valley views. The undulating landscapes of the Alentejo, with its traditional white-painted houses, give way to the citrus orchards of the Algarve and the breeze of the Atlantic Ocean.

With long days in the saddle offset by shorter ones, and the long, steady, rarely steep climbs, this challenge ticks all the boxes – the epic achievement of pedalling the length of a country, at an achievable pace with a hefty dose of cultural discovery!

To join Team Scotty and fundraise for bereaved British Forces children and young people on this challenge, please visit the Cycle Portugal event site by clicking here. When you register you will be asked which charity you wish to support and will have the opportunity to select Scotty’s Little Soldiers.

Please note that 80% of the minimum sponsorship must be received 10 weeks before departure, as agreed with the event organisers. If not your place may be cancelled.
