If you believe your family or a family you know may benefit from the support of Scotty’s Little Soldiers please feel free to contact us to find out more.
Children and young people are eligible for assistance from Scotty’s Little Soldiers if they;
- Are aged between 0-19. Our 19-25 ‘Seniors’ programme is coming soon!
- Have lost a parent who was a serving member of the British Armed Forces at the time of their death, or;
- Have lost a parent who died of a condition they had been medically discharged from the Armed Forces for, or;
- Have lost a parent to a condition directly related to their time in service, for example suicide due to PTSD.
The type of death is irrelevant; Scotty’s supports all young people who have lost a serving parent.
The marital status of the young person’s parents is also irrelevant.
The young person’s parent may have been serving in the British Army, Royal Navy, Royal Air Force, Regular or Reserve (TA) Forces.
Whether you receive or have received support from other charities does not affect whether you can receive assistance from Scotty’s Little Soldiers as well.
If you are the parent or guardian of a child you believe is eligible for support please download, complete and return the Application Form. Alternatively, you can request a form to be sent to you in the post together with a stamped return envelope.
