Thank You to Everyone Who Joined Us at Scotty’s Annual Fundraising Ball

2025-10-16

Over 250 guests gathered on Saturday 11th October 2025 at Chesford Grange in Kenilworth for Scotty’s annual Fundraising Ball — a night filled with energy, generosity, and a shared passion for supporting bereaved British Forces children and young people. Among the special guests were Minister for the Armed Forces Alistair Carns, who joined his Mission: Everest teammates - Kevin Godlington and Anthony “Staz” Stazicker - for an engaging Q&A with Scotty’s Chair of Trustees Jason Worthy. They shared inspiring stories from their London–Everest–London record-breaking challenge and spoke about how supporting Scotty’s and other veteran causes motivated them throughout their journey.

A Celebration of Support

The ball brought together Scotty’s supporters, partners, and sponsors for an unforgettable evening that raised £45,392.52 to help Scotty’s continue providing vital support to bereaved military families. The event was made possible thanks to the generous backing of sponsors OCS, Amazon UK, London Biggin Hill Airport, Marcurius, JD2E, and Kinected Solutions.

Guests enjoyed a night of fun and fundraising, with highlights including a raffle, silent and live auctions, the ever-popular Buy Your Hero a Pint, and Pass the Parcel — featuring prizes such as Scotty’s Blend coffee, kindly donated by Contact Coffee Co..

Sharing the Scotty’s Story

Scotty’s CEO Stuart Robinson and Founder Nikki Scott both spoke during the evening. Stuart shared updates on Scotty’s continued evolution and growth, while Nikki reflected on the charity’s journey since she founded the charity in 2010 following her husband’s death in Afghanistan - and looked ahead to its future, ensuring bereaved military families continue to feel supported and connected.

An Evening of Fun

Guests danced late into the night to live music from The Late Shift, captured moments in the photo booth, and enjoyed an atmosphere that perfectly reflected Scotty’s spirit: community, compassion, and connection.

We’re so grateful to everyone who attended, sponsored or donated – thanks for being part of Scotty’s journey.”
